SilverFast has gotten its name everywhere. So now it is time to
review them and compare SilverFast to more traditional scanning
software such as the prepress favorite LinoColor or the Umax favorite
Binuscan.
SilverFast
runs on Agfa, Linotype-Hell,
Imacon,
Microtek,
Nikon,
and Umax
scanners ( plus others). SilverFast thus handles the best 35mm slide
scanners (Nikon CoolScan) all the way up to tabloid size Umax (Mirage

SilverFast
is even available as an interface on the $19,000 to $38,000+ Hi-Scan
desktop drum scanner, with an impressive 10,000 dpi (that's true
