Peruse
this book at your local bookstore before you decide to buy.
A
clever advertising gimmick caught my attention and I fell for it,
the claim on the cover that someone considered this their MOST vital
reference.
But,
like most excessive claims, they backfire in the end, and result
in irritated book reviewers.
Reference
is indeed a good word, but vital or most vital are exaggerated.
I am sure the authors are experts and the book is thick and full
of information, but the topics move around so much that a common
thread gets broken.
Consider
it, perhaps there is information here that you need. But with all
the other books available on Adobe Photoshop, and with the whopping
prices of these books, don't order this via the Internet. Find it
in a local bookstore so you can look it over before you decide to
buy.
When
I do the chapter-by-chapter review of the contents I may change
my opinion and upgrade this book, but for now, my vitals mostly
never got excited.
