The usefulness of any review site is the completeness of its lists.

Here we begin to list copy stands, an overlooked item in many photographic studios.

Copy stands are especially useful for museums, natural history research centers, for archaeologists, botanists, zoologists, and any scientist. Don't make the mistake of getting
a rinky-dink copy stand. Better to get an industrial strength copy stand from the beginning.

We welcome input from readers about their copy stand recommendations (and mishaps)

  • Bencher, www.bencher.com/copystands.html
  • Beseler
  • Bogen
  • Cruse Digital Equipment (pictured on www.flatbed-scanner-review.org)
  • Kaiser, we like the Kaiser stands the best of all (they are sturdy); contact HP Marketing (USA importer).
  • Linhof
  • Polaroid
  • Testrite, www.testrite.com/new/copy_stands.htm
  • tti (Tarsia Technical Industries)
