links, tips on the QMS family of Magicolor and 2060 black-and-white
laser printers.
Our
office has used HP and Lexmark printers for years (we especially
like the Lexmark Optra N and color Optra 1275n). But when it came
time for reproducing photographs, we needed a new laser printer
with 1200 dpi capability
that was dedicated to photo quality. The pictures below were printed
with the QMS
2060 and turned out good enough to exhibit. These photos show
textures of the Missouri Ozarks, old barns and abandoned sheds,
textures that look best in black-and-white.
You
can add a scanner/copier unit to the QMS 2060 series. The scanner/copier
unit enables you to scan or copy directly to the printer. This is
more economical than buying a separate copier. The quality of a
scanner/copier is considerably better than most older Xerox machines
(which in the old days were never capable of reproducing a photograph

also makes color printers, both letter sized (A4) and tabloid sized
(up to 13x19 inches).
